February 25, 2016 at 6:57 Lingering wind slabs at upper elevations continue as our main concern today. Human triggered avalanches are possible and you are most likely to trigger an avalanche in upper elevation wind loaded terrain. Increasing sunshine and warming will weaken the snow surface later in the day creating loose, wet avalanche potential. Evaluate snow and terrain carefully. The danger is MODERATE above 5000 feet. Below 5000 feet the danger is LOW. |

February 21, 2016 at 7:00 Dangerous conditions will exist today due to substantial new, unsettled snow and wind drifted snow combined with warming temperatures and sun exposure. Don't let the deep snow and sunny skies lure you into bad decision making. Terrain choices will be very important. The avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE above 5000 feet. Human triggered avalanches are likely particularly in wind loaded terrain and on sunny slopes. Natural avalanches will also be possible. The danger below 5000 feet is MODERATE. |

February 20, 2016 at 7:00 Continued strong winds combined with new snow overnight added depth to sensitive wind slabs. Human triggered avalanches are likely in wind loaded areas above 5000 feet and possible in more sheltered areas. Natural avalanches are also possible. Cautious route finding and conservative decision making are essential. Weak snow above the Valentine's crust that is 1.5-2.5 feet deep also requires careful evaluation. The danger is CONSIDERABLE above 5000 feet and MODERATE below. |

February 15, 2016 at 7:00 An avalanche warning is in effect. Very dangerous conditions exist due to recent snow and moderate to strong winds combined with increasingly heavy, wet snow and rain at upper elevations today. The avalanche danger is HIGH above 6000 feet. Travel in avalanche terrain an run-out zones is not recommended. Below 6000 feet the avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE. With additional precipitation today we could see over an inch of rain and heavy, wet snow above 6000 feet. |
