Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No obvious alarms today. The significant development was extensive surface hoar on all aspects with quarter to half inch feathers. The south faces were just begining to show some sun effect but were still pleasent skiing. It remained below freezing all day despite the sun. The trees were not dripping. Looking to the north I could see two glide cracks on the skier's right of the run known as "Dorothy's" which is common for that area. There was a glide crack on a Canyon Creek face approx. a mile and a half down valley from the Big Creek divide as well.
