Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Observed a few small, loose avalanches on steep terrain triggered by snow falling off warming rocks and trees. Only layer that fractured in stability tests was thin layer of facets 21 cm from the surface. This was the older snow and 2/20 storm interface. Valentine's crust was 41 cm from surface as a reference. Evidence of recent windloading on the ridgelines, but most reactive slabs were at mid-elevations (between 5000 and 6000 feet). Thin melt-freeze crust on the surface with surface hoar above and near-surface facets below.
