Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

We found fine skiing above 5500 feet with slushy cement at lower elevations as temps warmed above freezing in the afternoon. About 10cm fresh snow on top most recent crust. Compression tests were fairly unreactive, but all crusts in the top 60cm kept our route conservative.
