More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No extensive pit digging today, just a lot of walking with some skiing. Obviously lots of wind effect from non reactive to somewhat reactive wind slabs, on leeward slopes found 12-16" sitting on top of previous crust, that failed with moderate force at approx 5800'. Skiing was mostly good. Did observe lots of cornice failures and what appeared to be wet slide debris on lower solar aspects. Heavy and sloppy down low.
