More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Took Erich's skin track up to Apgar LO. The snowbank settled since the previous day. We traversed the range north to peak 6205' above Roubideaux bowl. Then skied down to the Camas road. Except for sensitive cornices, no signs of instability noted.  Accidentally (stupidly) triggered a cornice along the ridge. The cornice dropped into a depression so no avalanche trigger was possible. Regardless, cornices are huge and this one could have injured and burried a skier. Trail breaking was moderate. Skiing was decent to the valley floor even with it wet below 4500'.
