As to be expected, found punchy crust at lower elevations with only a couple inches of snow to 10" of snow on a more supportable crust higher up. Dug a single pit at approx. 6200', fairly north aspect. depth 230cm, ectn 15 @  200 cm, ectn 24 @ 170 cm. Both of these did have clean breaks on shovel shears. We could get the new snow to slough easily on roll overs.
