Dug a pit on a NE aspect at 6500 ft. Found some wind transported snow and some really nice hoar frost formations. Our pit test resulted in an ECTN 11 15 cm down. Although not a dramatic propagation, it was a small wind slab that failed ontop of the looser snow below it. We did notice a few areas that have been affected quite a bit by the wind in the upper elevations. Also some sun had affected the south facing slopes creating a very thin crust.
