Good views of northerly aspects of the Swan and westerly aspects of the Flathead Range. Patchy snow coverage begins at about 6,500 ft. The snowpack generally appears to be too thin and discontinous for any avalanche concerns or weak layer formation except a few northerly slopes above treeline, such as the north facing slopes on Great Northern (see photo).
