Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

4-6" of new snow above 5,700 ft. A supportable crust above 5,700 ft. Below freezing all day with light snow. Vigorous snow after 300pm. No settling or cracking and no slide activity seen. There was enough new snow to cover most of the soft/wet snow debris from last week. Lots of wind damage in the Shady Grove area and in the glades to the west with numerous trees blown over.
