Found some fair ski conditions off of the east side of Stryker Peak.
4-6" of new snow (mixed forms with a fair amount of graupel mixed in) overlying a new melt freeze crust. Crust was soft.
Rain crust from last week was present on all aspects and elevations, topped with a bit of new snow, followed by the new melt freeze crust.
Above freezing at the Olney Trailhead in the am.
Freezing level around 4800'
Skied from about 6k - 7200'
Light winds.
Overcast with a valley inversion and some localized oragraphic clouds.
Skied steeper terrain, 40*+ with only minor surface sluffing.
Light snow in the afternoon. < .5 inch.
Snow level down to about 4k on the way out and moderate rain below that.
No recent avalanche activity.
