Quiet weather day in glacier. light wind, no transport. grey skies gave way to sun in the later afternoon. hopefully no sun crust will develop as it was well above freezing back at the car. Rain crust went away around ~4600 and found minimally wind effected punchy pow up to 7400. performed a handful of hasty pits on the way and which showed a 40-50 cm storm slab. failed with moderate force but not a clean break. skied up to 35+ degrees without any sluffing, cracking or other instability. ended the day with scaring tourists while coming down the trail, classic.
