Went up Wahoo Creek to 6,000 ft. to the ridge between Wahoo and Cascadilla
Notes - This week's melt/freeze/rain crust disappears at about 4,000 ft. elevation
- There's a lot of graupel mixed in with the new snow which makes the top 8 in. or so feel weird and kinda rotten (but fun to ski)
- Zero/nil/no wind in this zone today
- About 2 in. of snow fell between 9-3, again, mostly in graupel form
- No signs of instability, no recent slides noticed. The ridges were a little wind buffed, but no shooting cracks or obvious signs of instability/concern
- And there was alder, lots and lots of alder
