-highway to 5k: breakable crust, heavy wet snow, tree bombs at 0900 -5k to 5600: glop city -above 5600: back to winter, sporadic thin breakable crust, as others noted, doesn't really effect skiing. 4-6" of medium density pow on S, E, and W aspect, skied great -dug one pit at 6800', W aspect, depth 210 cm. no propagation, though with shovel shear able to a relatively clean break about 60 cm -skied up to 35+ degrees unable to trigger any slides -off and on light snow and light winds, though on adjacent peaks some snow transport noted -on exit ski at 5100' the aforementioned snow turned to rain
