I just want to submit an afternoon observation from a day of touring in the WMR backcountry. I was out from roughly 11 AM until 4 PM. During that time, approximately 4 inches of new snow fell of increasing density than the previous snow before it. Around 315pm widespread small storm slabs, 2 to 6 inches deep, began occurring naturally on all steep rolls and from remote triggers within 50 yards of us trail-breaking (Pictures attached). These storm slabs were slightly deeper and more cohesive near the ridge top, where increasing afternoon wind was actively loading the northern aspects.
