Skied and skinned all around the compass rose today and found generally stable conditions throughout. There was a cohesive ~10 cm soft slab of new snow on top of the old snow surface, and not yet bonded, found in quick hand pits at all elevations (5~7000') and on all aspects. We did notice a buried zipper-sun crust on open southerly aspects, but it wasn't thick enough to degrade the skiing. We also observed minor cracking of wind-affected snow near to ridgelines. No collapses or recent snow avalanches noted throughout the mosey.
Weather was just below freezing all day with in and out snowfall (S1-S2) accumulating up to a few centimeters by the end of the day. Not much for wind except a few light SW gusts along ridgelines.
