Quick Observation

Spring like conditions down low, storm snow depth increased as we gained elevation. Some signs of wind transport in the near tree line band. Skiing down we saw four skier triggered D1 avalanches and one natural D1 avalanche. Failing on buried near surface facets. Noticed on both sides of the drainage facing north-east and north-west. Crowns are small--about 12in maximum in height. Observed danger was L2-L1.
