Toured around Hellroaring Peak today. Dug a pit at the summit on a south facing aspect. Saw the 1/13 rain crust but didn't get any activity there on our column tests. Did have a shovel sheer at 90 cm deep on facets but felt comfortable with the snowpack and skied 30ish degree slopes of good snow. Saw some surface warming after 12:00 when the sun showed up.
