Numerous natural storm failures on the rain crust. Easy to get the new 4-6" to sluff on the crust as well. Interestingly the crust seemed to get stronger and thicker as we gained elevation. Not wind effect on the new snow. Dug one pit, the crust, which was 2+" thick failed on isolation. The persistent weak layer here was about 90 cm down, takes a tiny bit more force to shear off compared to last week. Depth was 195 cm on n aspect at 6000.
