after a morning sucker hole spent the rest of the day in the clouds. there was about 1-2 cm of new snow over night. compared to snow yesterday there sneaker storm seems to be better set up and sluffy and less cracking. felt comofrtable skiing 35+ with minimal sluff. open west faces also were more variable with sometimes less snow total vs wind scouring down to the rain crust. there was some wind drifting on n aspects but unreactive. similar failures to yesterday's swan observation was also seen, with the new snow failing naturally on rain crust on steep convexity. plenty of d1-2 debris off n facing steep rocky slopes.
