Soft slabs tickling reactive

Today I went back to the same locations where blase was able to trigger soft slabs on Tuesday to see how they are trending today. 

• I was able to easily trigger soft slabs 5 to 7 inches thick on steep breakovers. Ski-cutting planar slopes produced minor sluffing. 
• I triggered one hard wind slab that failed down to the early April Melt-freeze crust. This crust was buried on April 2nd. This slab was inconsequential due to the terrain I was in.
• The weak layer is a combination of near-surface facets and broken precipitation particles. 
• I felt the surface snow become denser while I was there due to warming ambient air temperatures. This may contribute to further slab development in more wind-protected areas.
• Mostly cloudy skies until my departure at noon.
