Took advantage of the low danger to go up Snowshed proper. No new signs of avalanches or instabilities. The wind started to fill in the previous skin track around 6800ish ft. The only thing we noticed was hoar frost on the northeast slopes starting around 7000ft. The size of the hoar seemed to get bigger as we got closer to the summit (7800-ish ft). Something to keep an eye on if we don't get a wind event to knock it around before the next snowfall. We skied a Northwest aspect with very pleasant turns. The same hoar frost didn't seem as present on this aspect. Again no signs of instability. Good skiing until the crust made its presence known around 5500 ft. After that, we had a pizza party back to the trail.
