Skied north aspects around the Snowshed Burn. Found about 25 in. of new right-side-up snow from this week on a supportable crust. No evidence of wind effect, no instabilities. South aspects got absolutely fried by intermittent periods of sun today. We were expecting to see some wet slides by mid-afternoon on south aspects, but intermittent clouds-sun-clouds-sun had a warming-cooling effect—skiing out we found wet cement topped with a zipper crust.
Hope the car wreck near Cascadilla turned out okay, it looked really, really bad. :(
