We rode up to Red Meadow pass, keen to get above the boosh. For what it's worth, the last few miles are pretty beat up right now--thanks to the FSA for smoothing out the way on the much of the road.
Like others, we watched the transition from light, dry, right-side-up to increased surface cracking around our skis and sloughing as the day wore on. Ridgetop winds were light gusting moderate out of the SW with a consistent S2 all day falling from obscured skies. We kept angles below 35 degrees, but the depth of the new snow made that occasionally a little slow.
