Things we found on a 27ish degree south facing slope, at 6830 feet in the Southern Whitefish Range:
+ ECTP19 30cm above the base of the 100 cm snowpack. The November 19th crust we presume.
+ Pockets of surface hoar beneath 5-10 cm of fluffy new snow.
+ Fun skiing that was a bit noisy.
+ Loose Dry manageable sluffs running on the Christmas crust.
+ Does anyone know the derivation of the name Skookoleel?
