Sixmile

New storm snow was dense becoming more dense with the sun and warm temps. Dug a pit on ESE aspect at 6700' and found 20 cm of new storm snow on top of the facet crust facet layer. The storm snow was a little stronger than the facets it sat on, facets were fist hard, storm snow was 4 finger. The facets between the crust and ground are incredibly weak. ECTN18 fractured on top of the Thanksgiving rain crust but did not propagate. No other instabilities were observed.
