Poked around Big Mtn this morning and found fun skiing with the 2-4 inches of fresh. Not surprisingly, steep pitches that haven't been heavily skied over the past 2 weeks (preserved surface hoar) held super reactive conditions, although slabs have barely begun to form. Lots of cracking, settling and a few mini slab realeases. Quite predictable. Any zones that got more snow than Big Mtn would likely be very sketchy.
