Sledded in from the North fork road to the lake and skinned up Link's northeast(?) arm for a view of its North aspect. Thin, breakable crust capped by anywhere from 2" on the road to a foot or more on the cross loaded ridge we ascended. Rain crust? sun crust? not sure. Ski sized cracks/chunks broke in our switchback tests. Snow seemed cohesive and homogenized 3-4 feet down in our snow profile. Light winds. Minor accumulation of new snow.
