We dug on a N, 35 degree slope at 6600ft. It was difficult to discern the January 9th rain event up that high, and with a couple of ECTNs coming from graupel layers in the new snow, we saw no propagation. Open slopes lower on north face of Essex Mountain had plenty of evidence of scour and windslabbing.
