Traveled on numerous steep slopes up to 6000 ft with no signs of instability
Snow depth on low angle ridgeline at 5800 ft is 160 cm. Thanksgiving crust is down 115 cm. Snow depths in the avalanche terrain that we traveled was generally half that.
Snow surface is weak. Low density stellar dendrites capped by small grained near surface facets. Thin melt freeze on SE and S aspects.
Numerous slides from last cycle up to D2.5 in size.
