Happy New Year! Similar obs to those of the past few days surrounding WMR, but all obs help. So...
Observed no recent avalanche activity (limited visibility), no cracking, no collapsing.
Minimal cohesive slab (8-12 inches thick) development just off of ridges but not in sheltered areas.
Subsurface snow becoming weak (faceting) during this cold period.
.....and cold (again) with a light to moderate SW wind throughout the day.
