Couple inches of New overnight snow seemed to be little less at trailhead than areas before Essex
Touring up found very wind effected slopes and no noted surface hoar
new snow showed some active transport at upper elevations
skiing the east side path down showed very variable deposition of snow on the crust layer. Above 6000' varied from scoured to crust to 4", mid elevations varied from 2" to 8", lower elevations had already began to melt with 2-4" depending on aspect.
