Sunny skies and minimal winds were found while touring to and above 7,000' Sunny and shady aspects provided excellent skiing. Few signs of instability were noted as we ascended / descended slopes up to 35 degrees. Old avalanche paths from the strom cycle showed reactive hangfire when ski cut, and a couple small steep test slopes (c. 40 degrees) showed a little bit of energy). A pit (SSE aspect, 6700') yielded non propgating results: ECTN 9 (app. 50cm down) on the new snow interface and at ECTN 29 (app. 120cm down).
