Quick Observation

Went for a quick trip into Kimmerly to see how many natural releases occurred with the recent slab formation and I was not disappointed. Steep north facing lines had already slid, with obvious snowed over debris piles visible. Most of these slides appeared to be triggered by cornice fall. An open SE facing convex slope also had a visible crown line. Low angle north facing terrain harbored excellent soft snow above 5800 ft.
