Visibility early in the day was less than one socially-distanced partner, so we chose to ski in the trees, which kept us on sheltered, N-facing terrain. Triggered significant sluff in steeper terrain, particularly in the lower elevations. No cracking or other signs of instability on the up or down tracks today. No sign of crust under the new storm snow except on the exit on south-facing aspects below about 5500'. Roller balls and small point releases were visible under the new snow on S facing aspects in the Skook chutes, likely from yesterday. Skies were clearing by mid-afternoon, but winds seemed to be picking up out of the SW, or maybe we had just been sheltered from them all day.
