Quick Observation
Toured from Dickey Creek with party of four to the top of Paola Ridge (7200 ft).
We chose a safe route for the day avoiding open slopes above 35 degrees on the up and down.
We did not see any signs of instability all day.
The cloud deck was high all day with light snow. We picked up 1/2 of fresh snow during the day with light winds.
We dug a pit at 6500 ft., S facing slope, 30 degress, HS 180cm
ECTN14- 40 cm down
ECTN22-65 down
ECTN28- 85 down
Great skiing on S facing slopes
