Good refreeze overnight, down to 5500'. Cloud cover stuck around till 1100 after that temps climbed pretty rapidly reaching 40F at 6500' by 1400. Little to no wind today. Glide cracks are starting to open up above the GTTSR in Haystack drainage, NW shoulder of Haystack Butte. Also starting to see the snowpack pulling away from cliffs and forming bergschrunds. Some of the wet loose activity has slowed down but Triple Arches re-buried the road yesterday afternoon as well as Bird Woman put some wet loose on the roadway. Warm weekend temps will surely bring out more Glide Avalanche activity and introduce some new glide cracks.
Glide avalanch out of the Heaven's Peak Remnet Glacier. The Glide crack extends across the slope so just pieces of it are failing.
