Quick tour on the east side just out of East Glacier, in several fresh inches of snow on top of a (most of the time) supportable crust). Not quite as warm over there, but snow was softening all the way up to our turn around point at 6000', and variable on the exit. New snow was bonding well to the old snow, and we saw no signs of instability all day.
