Poor refreeze overnight left a breakable crust up to ~7000', where the surface firmed up slightly. Good corn skiing was found after descending at 9:30am, but quickly turned to mush. Small natural wet loose avalanches and small skier trigger wet loose stuff was noted on steep east slopes that were receiving early morning sunshine. Exited before noon to avoid the heat wave.
Small D1 skier triggered sluff were between 7000 and 5500' on steep convexities (40+ degrees).
The small naturals were in the same elevation range (5500-7000') on steep and rocky slopes and were east and southeast facing in the upper Cascadilla drainage. Lots of evidence of larger (D2) natural wet loose activity that looked 2-3 days old in the upper drainage and headwall.
