east slope off of radio ridge found 60-80 cm of snow, with good skiing but sharks lurking. dug one hasty pit and found 15 cm of old snow on the ground with some facet formation, 35 cm of storm snow from the prior weekend capped with a subtle crust/density change from a warming event on monday capped with another 15 cm of new snow, which had lots of graupel. the graupel rolled freely down slope. poor vis and snowing on and off throughout the day.
