like many other parties strong snow squall this morning gave way to intermittent gusty winds from SW, blowing snow onto easterly aspects and blue skies.
as to be expected solar aspects up to ~6k seemed to warm up. a couple point releases in the surface snow were seen naturally occuring on steep slopes. one skier triggered a wind slab on top of a convexity but about 1500' down a bowl. d1 in size.
