30 cms of low density snow seemed well bonded to 1/18 crust. During our ECT, we had a Q2 failure with hard force on the 1/9 crust. The persistent slab was 75cm thick and failed on 2mm facets. With minimal force from a shovel shear the 75cm slab fell into the pit.
