The good news is its filling in down low. The bad news is it excedes my sled riding ability. Got stuck several times on the road to 5000'. Judging by the number of craters we passed on the way back to the truck, we weren't the only ones. Had little energy or time left to venture beyond the trailhead. It worked out for the better since we had little interest in tangling with one of the large avalanches reported by WCMAC in the Southern Missions.
We felt comfortable skiing the road back down to where we had ditched the sled.
