Lack of storm and wind slabs - Crystal Creek/ Stanton Lake

Toured into the Crystal Creek and Stanton lake area to evaluate recent storm slabs and wind slabs.

• We found a generally right side up snowpack above the 3/22 crust.  
• We dug two pits (N and E aspects) at 6100' and 6200' respectively and found the 3/22 crust to be 50-60 cm down.  ECTs did not produce any propagating results in either pit.
• No evidence of overnight winds creating snow transport.  New snow (approx. 10 cm) was light and cohesionless and would easily be transported by a slight breeze.  
• We saw no signs of instabilities (shooting cracks, sluffing, collapsing, or recent natural avalanches).
• We found almost 2 feet of snow that had fallen since Sunday in both pits (N and E aspects).
