We toured to 6100ft in the Middle Fork corridor. We dug a quick pit at this elevation on a southern aspect, HS 130cm, and had no propagating results in our ECT. We encounter a right side up snowpack, with weaker snow at the ground. We were surprised by how much thinner the snowpack was at the bottom of our run (5300ft). Snow was sluffy. We observed what appeared to be a small crown below a cornice on a northeast aspect.
Wind was essentially nonexistent throughout the day.
