Late post from yesterday. Snow line is around 4000 ft. Got up to about 6k where early season base seemed well consolidated beneath 6” or so newer snow. Maybe 20” total when u momentarily break out of the burn before the last set of switchbacks. Feet were sore on the walk out as they usually are on the Sperry trail.. and I wasn’t even in ski boots.
