change of weather

Went on a bit of a tour yesterday to do something different than the Jewel.  Found similar conditions with 6-8+" of great snow and good skiing. Couple things we found of note:

1. rapid temp drop, went from 26 to 11 at our high point with increasing wind.
2. soft wind slab formation on wind slabs that broke easily and ran short distance.
3. more natural point releases of surface snow, running 300-500'. these were seen on W aspects.
