Toured up Peter’s Ridge today. Minimal evidence of wind effected snow below 6000ft. Above that elevation, some wind effect at the ridge line, but nothing to the extent as expected with the wind forecast over the weekend. No evidence of shooting cracks or collapses on the skin track. We felt comfortable skiing steep, well anchoed, planer slopes. Skied Southwest and North facing aspects with some moderate slough to manage but no other evidence of instability. Overall, excellent snow quality. The winds picked up later in the afternoon, but no snow transport was noted. The Swan Crest was mostly obscured by clouds but the few times it cleared, no evidence of any natural avalanche activity from over the weekend was seen.
