Observerd evidence of rain on snow event up to 6200'. Below approx. 5500', breakable crust noted below 4-6" of low density snow. Between 5500-6000', very stout rain crust which was difficult to break through with ski pole and made for some challenging skinning and skiing in this elevation band. Above 6000', rain crust tappered to non-existent and found upwards of 12" of low density snow. Minor sluffing noted throughout all elevation bands. Stuck to lower angled slopes due to zamboni "fast-pack" under low density snow.
Skiumah Lake trailhead up to 6400'.
