Toured up the East aspect of Baldhead Mountain, west of Challenge Cabin, Skyland Area.
Snowpack: Surface snow above 5000ft on shaded aspects had not been affected by recent rain and/or warm-ups, consolidated storm snow within the upper 30cm of the snowpack allowed for easy travel; minimal ski penetration. Widespread surface hoar developement was observed on shaded aspects above 5000ft due to recent high pressure., clearing skies.

Conducted multiple ECT's on an East aspect @ 7100ft Slope <32* -ECTP 25 @ 55cm below surface (buried surface hoar) -ECTP 22 @ 55cm below surface (buried surface hoar) -ECTP 23 @ 55cm below surface (buried surface hoar)
